Rental enquiries, pre-qualification, and short-stay bookings:

When you submit an enquiry, pre-qualification application, or short-stay booking enquiry, we collect:

  • Arrival and checkout dates (for short-stay / holiday-let enquiries)
  • Booking mode (e.g. standard enquiry, priority pre-screened application, or direct booking link)
  • Deposit amounts and tenancy deposit protection scheme details disclosed by the agent/landlord
  • Pre-qualification information: employment status, marital status, rent payment method, household size, pet ownership, smoking status, current and previous addresses, and years at current address
  • Preferred move-in date and lease length
  • Free-text enquiry message

This information is shared with the listing agent or landlord so they can respond to your enquiry. It is retained for the duration of the enquiry lifecycle and then archived according to our retention schedule.

How long we keep information

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

  • Account and Profile Information: Retained for as long as your account is active. If closed, we delete or anonymize your data within 12 months, except where required longer for legal/tax purposes.
  • Financial and Transaction Records: Retained for 6 years from the end of the relevant financial year in accordance with UK HMRC regulations.
  • Marketing Preferences: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
